Classroom Technology Not Keeping Up With Students
As a teacher it is very likely that you will understand the need for technology in the classroom. The area where you may need help in facilitating the technical training to teach these concepts to your students. After all technological options are now widely yesterday, calculators and overhead projectors.
If you take a look around, you’ll see that today’s children use the Internet to find information, share their research with children in the world and publish their thoughts on blogs and social networking sites. Then you can start using the Internet, why not first start with your own school library? Your library probably has access to a whole series of resources that are used to improve their technology in the classroom. Perhaps your library has a variety of videos for viewing in the classroom, or maybe there is a computer lab in the library. Better yet, ask your librarian. Chances are, he or she has already started with training on the presentation of more technology into their lesson plans. Learn from their knowledge.
If you have explored this option, turn to Web sites and educational institutions to see what they have to offer. There are literally thousands of online technology options that the technology can be introduced in the classroom than their nominal value.
